ENGLISH VERSION
\nOn Tuesday, November 18, 2019, Marco Tob\u00f3n Mej\u00eda English teachers carried out the Second English Song Festival in English, which was attended by students of all groups. This event, which was held in the multiple classroom of the school, had the participation of the students Nasly Sierra and Manuela Giraldo of 7A, Danna Gaviria of 8B, Mariana Sanchez of 9A, Manuela Quiroz and Yennifer Casta\u00f1o of 10, Gabriel Salazar of 10A , and Leonardo Mesa of 11C. There were also some students who performed songs such as Juan Esteban Chavarr\u00eda of grade 8 who sang in Korean, Pablo Monsalve of 10 whose participation with the piano delighted the public and the teacher Jos\u00e9 Arturo Cifuentes performing a song on guitar. The jury of this contest were the English teachers Jiro Daniel P\u00e9rez Guti\u00e9rrez from Hoyorrico school, Lina Marcela Rengifo Duque from Cardenal An\u00edbal Mu\u00f1oz Duque school and Luis Enrique Vel\u00e1zquez teacher of Marco Tob\u00f3n Mej\u00eda school.<\/p>\n

This second contest had as winners Mariana S\u00e1nchez from 9A in first place, Manuela Quiroz and Yennifer Gomez from grade 10 in second place and Leonardo El\u00edas Mesa from 11C in third place. These students received awards, which were donated by providers of the Institution.<\/p>\n

The invitation is extended to the entire Institution to participate in the third contest of the song in English that will be held next year 2020.<\/p>\n

\nEl pasado martes 18 de noviembre de 2019 los docentes del \u00e1rea de ingl\u00e9s de la I.E Marco Tob\u00f3n Mej\u00eda realizaron el segundo festival de la canci\u00f3n en ingl\u00e9s, el cual cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de estudiantes de muchos grupos de bachillerato. Este evento que se llev\u00f3 a cabo en el aula m\u00faltiple del plantel, tuvo como participantes a los estudiantes Nasly Sierra y Manuela Giraldo de 7A, Danna Gaviria de 8B, Mariana S\u00e1nchez de 9A, Manuela Quiroz y Yennifer Casta\u00f1o de 10, Gabriel Salazar de 10A, y Leonardo Mesa de 11C. Tambi\u00e9n se cont\u00f3 con las intervenciones de los estudiantes Juan Esteban Chavarr\u00eda del grado 8 quien cant\u00f3 en coreano, Pablo Monsalve de 10a, cuya participaci\u00f3n con el piano deleit\u00f3 al publico y con el docente Jos\u00e9 Arturo Cifuentes interpretando una canci\u00f3n en guitarra.<\/p>\n

Los jurados de este concurso fueron los docentes de ingl\u00e9s Jiro Daniel P\u00e9rez Guti\u00e9rrez de la I.E rural Hoyorrico, Lina Marcela Rengifo Duque de la I.E Cardenal Anibal Mu\u00f1oz Duque y Luis Enrique Vel\u00e1zquez docente de la I.E Marco Tob\u00f3n Mej\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Este segundo concurso tuvo como ganadores a Mariana Sanchez de 9A en el primer lugar, Manuela Quiroz y Yennifer Gomez del grado 10 en segundo lugar y Leonardo El\u00edas Mesa de 11C en el tercer lugar. Estos estudiantes recibieron premiaci\u00f3n, la cual fue donada por proveedores de la Instituci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Se agradece a los docentes, directivos, estudiantes y proveedores que hicieron posible este evento. Y se extiende la invitaci\u00f3n a toda la Instituci\u00f3n para que se haga participe del tercer concurso de la canci\u00f3n en ingl\u00e9s que se realizar\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o 2020.<\/p>\n
